- Latvian Forest Owners' Association was founded in 2005
- In February 2006 Latvian Forest Owners' Association sign Memorandum of Understanding between the Non-governmental Organisations and the Government.
- In February 2006 Latvian Forest Owners' Association is one of the organisations that founded the Confederation of Latvian Forest Owners and Managers, whose main goal is to promote cooperation among different forest owners associations.
- In June 2006 LFOA becomes a member of the Forest Advisory Board chaired by the Minister of Agriculture.
- In January 2007 LFOA becomes a member of the European Landowners' Organization.
- In March 2007 LFOA signs Agreement on Collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture.
- In May 2007 LFOA signs Merger Treaty with Latvian Foresters' Association that envisages inclusion of Latvian Foresters' Association with the Latvian Forest Owners' Association;
- In July 2007 Latvian Forest Owners' Association signs Memorandum on Collaboration with the Latvian Hunting Association.
- In September 2007 Latvian Forest Owners' Association sign Agreement on Collaboration with the Forest Owners Association of Latvia "KS MAA".
